Filmed 2 sit n goes for poker after dark so far, and have 2 cash games yet to film, one of which should be extra sweet. The poker after dark lineups are different this year than in the past, and while they might be more fun to watch, they definitely arent quite as juicy to play in, you’ll need to turn on nbc at 2am to see if i run good anyway or not.
I have 2 challenges open, both of which havent had much play in the last few weeks. I was busy with wsope, then traveling a bunch- but in the next few days/weeks i should be putting in a ton of hands with jungleman. With regards to the patrik challenge, i want to clear up the thought that he’s stalling or doesn’t want to pay if he loses or something like that. Patrik and i talk a lot and he’s definitely done nothing wrong by me in the slightest. I don’t know if we’ll be finishing soon but hopefully we will, and sorry to the people watching that challenge that its gone on for so long.
As i said i was in europe, and that was pretty sweet. I spent most of the time in london for poker, and because i really like that city. Its the european version of new york imo. I flew back and spent 2 or 3 (dont exactly remember) days in oregon for a friend’s wedding which was a surprisingly fun trip considering i did about 30 hours of travel in 4days. I then flew back to london to tape late night poker, after which i spur of the moment flew to marrakesh for a 50k tournament they had. I really liked the casino it was held in (el saadi i think?), but unfortunately it only got 13 players. I flew back to london to film pokermillion, and my gf met me there after, and we flew to italy since my parents were on a 2week trip there. Unfortunately either the marriott in twickenham or some of the water/food in morocco got me sick, and i left the hotel room i think once in 3 days in rome. By the time we got to venice i was getting better, and i thought the city was absolutely amazing- having no cars and needing to get around by boat is pretty sweet, but after about 3days and 13049828 mosquito bites i changed wanting to go there a few months a year, to maybe visiting for a few days whenever im in italy. It was still an awesome city though.
My main regret of the last few weeks was being a bum on halloween. Not only did i not dress-up, i didnt even party at all (and apparently slept thru one really memorable night). At least i recovered from the europe trip, and hopefully that’ll make me run good on pad. Took a little day trip from vegas, and im on my way back now- flight boarding.
My next blog i’ll have a poll about how many tequila shots i should owe for a prop bet i lost on not writing enough blogs- no time now though, and i wanna write it out careful or i’ll be shitfaced.

November 6th, 2010 at 10:55 pmI finally saw you walking @ Aria Oct 29. I always wanted your autograph but you were with two people. The next time I run into you would it be cool to ask for it? I just don’t want to be rude or anything stopping you on your tracks.

November 8th, 2010 at 1:49 amHey Tom, I have zero interest in poker or gambling and I don’t even understand poker…. BUT, I love having Poker After Dark on while I work because I feel like I’m there with you guys + the announcer’s voice is pretty soothing. ANYWAY, if I haven’t offended you and the sport, I’d like to photograph you. No pay involved, just a trade. I’m a world famous erotic/fetish artist. I don’t want to shoot you naked or anything, I think you would be a great addition to my (mainstream) portfolio. If you give my your snail mail addy, I’ll send you one of my books. Hope you are interested.

November 8th, 2010 at 7:04 pmHey Durrrr,
Those two Poker After Dark episodes where you ran bad (stuck half a mil+), but then won it all back was to put it plainly, amazing.
Cheers,
AP.S. Just wish you would shoved on Gabe when you made your full house on the river. But you won that coin flip for $5K, so I guess that’s a small consolation.

November 25th, 2010 at 5:16 amJust watched again (it was a PAD repeat) you crushing Helmuth for a $300K+ pot when you spiked trip 10s on the turn to his 97os (pair of 7s) – flop came Q high. What was Phil thinking?? You have mastered the LAG style!
Good luck at next years WSOP – you are overdue for a bracelet.
