For the record, there is someone out there using @durrrrpoker on Twitter and it is NOT Tom. However, we do want to get Tom on Twitter and I need your help to convince him! Post the reasons you think Tom should start tweeting and maybe we’ll get somewhere :)

    If Phil Galfond can learn how to use twitter than Tom can too. I believe Phil wrote in his blog he felt like an old man learning “The Google” at first trying to tweet. His post from what I remember was: “Peeing right now….this is how you use twitter right?”

    You don’t want to seem like an old man who can’t learn the Google do you Tom?

    so i can keep up on your bracelet bets! twitter is 140 characters, much easier than maintaining a blog. At this rate you owe Haiti or Darfur like 3 months of charity anyways. Twitter is easier. “This is what’s up” and boom you’re done!

    i absolutely hate twitter. it’s insanely annoying and people get so obsessed with it. it’s the whole aura of ‘tweeting’ that reeks of loserville. i think i got my point across. but that’s not the REAL point. here it is: if tom starts tweeting, even people like me will join it just to follow his success and ascent to the absolute top of the poker world.

    Do it mate, I’m getting sick of reading about Hellmuth and his bad beats.

    Plus reading about your prop and push up bets is far more interesting than reading about no-name guys bitching about bad beats.

    Hey Tom, you should definitely consider twitter. It’s not a pain in the ass to update (unlike a blog) and it’s more lively as a medium.

    I think you should not start tweeting, because I would imagine it will get really annoying at some point, always having to update like what your just doing and what not. I think its just distracting and I dont want to see a distracted durrrr at highstakes poker thats playing his b or c game because all he thinks about is what message he will send to the world next on twitter.
    And Im not joking Im serious, I think this twitter thing is bs, sorry

    You mean that’s not you? I’ve been following him, and he sent me a message once and it made my day (-__- ). You should get a twitter to keep the frauds at bay, if anything. Since updating is at your discretion, post about tournaments and prop bets, there is no pressure to update every day or with narcissism. Please come

    There are many reasons you should twitter.
    Mainly you should do it because of the enormous amount of fans you have who want to follow you. You do make posts on 2+2, but that’s not the same at all. Too impersonal and all too poker related. Twittering will take like 15 miuntes of your day max. All you need is like 2-4 posts a day.

    Screw Twitter, most people never read it. just post your updates, even short ones, on the blog.
