Tom Dwan Tom Dwan

hmm

Had del friscos with some friends on wednesday night. It was pretty awesome as always, but for some reason i felt sick wednesday night. Didn’t sleep well after being sick and woke up after about 4hours sleep thursday. I did some stuff thursday during the day, and then started playing online last night. I finally went to sleep sometime around 1pm today- so i slept 4hours after being sick then was awake for 30 and there were between 4 and 8 200/400 cap plo games, so i choose not to sleep and played something around 15 or 20 hours straight. I remember dozing off as i was playing a bunch of times, and then deciding to take a break around 7am and get some coffee etc. I remember having some crazy dream about these dogs being out to get me in the 60sec i dozed off while still at tables. Then i woke up, sat back in, and proceeded to run amazing and go from down a few hundred k to ending up a bunch.

Halfway thru writing this i dusted off 135k at 1500/3k 7game. But i just started playing the 2/4 cap plo games again because they’re running today again, so im gonna cut this one short since im on a few tables now, and lets hope i can run as amazing as i did at the end of yesterday

edit: maybe i shouldv’e woke up more before playing and/or blogging because that seemed really rambley but oh well

Nice work on that hand analysis with Phil Gordon. Didn’t realize how deep your thought process could go while you’re playing 4 tables of HU PLO. Looking forward to some NLHE analysis in the future, keep up the good work!

Ziigmund mentioned in his blog he went surfing with you in Byron Bay recently. Next time you’re there you should go diving in the Great Barrier Reef and check out Whitsunday Island, pretty pimp beach from what I hear.

Why is everybody getting sick lately? I was reading another blog not too long ago and this guy has had the colds since he flew into LA from Melbourne last week. O.o

Do you feel that most (winning players) people at the lower stakes are better off playing several tables at a limit they can easily beat or 1-2 tables at the higher end of their BR spectrum in order to improve their game?

Do you play on Stars at all and if so any shot of you going after oogee in the $500-1000 27TD game?

Keep it up and I look forward to reading more in future!!

I like the 1010 vs. AA heads-up vs. Helmuth. You should have said to him “If my play is so wrong like you say, why are you the one going home, son?” :D

I think I will compile a montage of Tom Dwan table yawns. Frank Sinatra said a man should never yawn in public, but he’s dead, and my old guitar instructor said he sang about a quarter step sharp, so we can’t listen to anything he says. I have adopted The Big Yawn as an integral part of my table image whereas before I was reluctant. thank you for leading by example and freeing me from the biologically stifling tenets of Old Blue eyes. I also saw some online thing with you at yer house in Vegas. You need some artwork on your walls… call me, I’ll hook you up.
Thank you for the blogging, however, perhaps Haiti is in greater need of the dough than we are of the downlow : )

Get some more sleep even though it seems you won’t need it you need to stay healthy :) the dogs probably represent all the players who want to see you fall and who want to take your money after you took theirs.

    get better, :)

you might find this interesting… interpretation of being chased by dog in a dream

“if the dog in your dream is snarling at you, chasing you or wants to bite you, this should be interpreted as a forewarn about your friends, as not all of them are sincere and speak their minds, they may even plan treachery.”
